Small Group Art Therapy

Why small group?

Smaller groups are a safe container to foster deep connections and personal growth. 1:1 sessions can explore an individuals challenges, but when we create together with others something magical happens.

There is incredible healing power within creativity and connection with others on a similar journey in a safe and nurturing environment.

At the end of the year there will be an opportunity to exhibit their artworks in a community art exhibition where families and friends can be involved in witnessing the creations.

What will we do in the sessions?

Guided art therapy
Experiment with many different art forms – Paint, clay, Textiles, sculpture
Work on ‘self-led projects’
Group artworks
Process artworks where we are being mindful and not working towards a final artwork
Psychosocial education – strategies and supports to assist clients in challenging situations
Discussions and connection with others.

What is the cost and how do I register?

Participants who are interested are invited to contact Clare clare@studiococo.com.au and you will be sent the intake form.

Various NDIS code available each session will run for 90min or 2 hours

Private or NDIS client $150 per session.

Participants will need to commit to the full 10 weeks as to help create a safe environment and connection within the group.
