Why Studio Coco?

Clare has been blessed with many wonderful creatures in her life, but one of the most significant was her beloved Cat Coco. She rescued him from the RSPCA for her birthday in 2005 he was 18 years old when he was laid to rest underneath the foundations of her new Art Therapy studio. 


Clare began to call it 'Studio Coco'. The name just felt

Clare began to call it 'Studio Coco'. The name just felt right and a business name change was made at the end of 2023.

New update: For her birthday in May 2026 Clare found herself a new cattie companion Cleopatra. Cleopatra was only 300g when Clare found her and now she is a small, but fierce beastie! (photo in next section).

Inclusive Practices

Clare is a fully qualified Transpersonal Art Therapist and Visual Art Teacher.


 She has worked for over 10 years in multiple Primary, High Schools and Colleges in Canberra, developing strong and genuine connections with children, adolescents and teenager's. 


Working in an inclusive school environment, she has experience educating neurotypic

Clare is a fully qualified Transpersonal Art Therapist and Visual Art Teacher.


 She has worked for over 10 years in multiple Primary, High Schools and Colleges in Canberra, developing strong and genuine connections with children, adolescents and teenager's. 


Working in an inclusive school environment, she has experience educating neurotypical and neurodiverse students to gain success and confidence in various subject areas.    


Clare is a parent of neurodiverse children and so she has a lived experience of anxiety and social issues in adolescents and young adults, and is able to offer a better understanding of their needs within schools and support for parents.
