Art Therapy & Art Workshops for children and adults
‘Before I met Clare I didn’t really like my art. Clare listens to me about what I would like to do, I have now learnt how to be me in my artwork. ’
Question: What advice can you give someone thinking about doing Art Therapy with Clare?
‘Just come here, she is amazing. Everyone should have a Clare in their life’.
I highly recommend Clare and her amazing art sessions. My 7 year old son has been having art lessons with Clare for some time now and absolutely loves them. As a ND kid, he hasn’t always been open to trying new things or extra curricular activities, often struggling to leave my side and engage. From the second he met Clare this all changed. He has learnt wonderful new ways to express himself and lots of emotional and social skills too. Thank you Clare for being the wonderful teacher and human that you are and for supporting our son as you have.
I just wanted to give you a heads up that we will shortly need to ask you for a support letter for A's upcoming NDIS review. We want to ensure she has enough funding to continue weekly sessions with you next year - given it’s beneficial for her emotional, social and communication skills, and suits her much better than more traditional therapies (like speech or psychology). Art Therapy has been helping her to meet and exceed all her goals. Thanks Clare!
I like going to see Clare as I get to experiment with different art materials and strategies. It allows me to get sensory input and provides me with another person to talk to, to support me in my life. Clare helps me with my mental health.
From paint, 3D construction to collecting wild flowers Clare makes our sessions fun. I like Clare.
I just want to say thank you to you Clare. Having E in these sessions have helped build her confidence while doing something she really enjoys. It is really great you offer this type of Art Therapy. I wanted to share with you an e-mail from her Teacher.
Good morning,
I just wanted to let you know how impressed I have been with E. This term she has been consistently putting up her hand and contributing to class discussions in such a confident manner. She has been projecting her voice so clearly and with such confidence. I am so proud of her.
I know it was a goal you guys had for her at the beginning of the year she has just blossomed this term. She also indicated that she wants to apply for school leadership next year!
I commenced classes with Clare and was so grateful for her gentle guidance, and amazing skill set. Clare was able to bring out the best not only in my artwork, but also me. my confidence developed. Participating online is just as good as attending in person and Clare supports each of her participants with respect and enthusiasm. Her ongoing guidance and reinforcement enables the bringing together of ones best work. I can’t thank Clare enough for the role she has played in expanding my skills, my confidence and my ability to tackle anything head on.
Clare is an extraordinarily delightfully talented artist who gives from the heart and is always uplifting in her guidance to help you create. Clare’s classes are like being transported into another world which allows you to feel, explore and be in your creative zen! Love her work!
I came to Clare with family problems and I was crying all the time as I just didn't know what to do.
Since working with Clare my family are more connected than ever - we actually laugh together now and I can look positively into the future.
Studio Coco Art Therapy provided a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere even online. The encouragement and experience Clare offers to her clients is wonderful. I've now completed three classes and will be going back for more, each class is unique and you leave feeling more confident in your ability.
